Don's Profile

This blog is ultimately a black man’s observations of progress within modern society and culture at large and its supposed unintended impacts, on equity. Please pardon the lack of articulation...time constraints and general pissedoffness does that to you.. There is a particular bent towards the democracy-technology nexus. Its a more a case of what is easiest to access, what interests me, and what's partially related to what I do... On the writing front...life is Hectic. Building and sustaining a fast growing Nu Media Start Up, is a tough and gruelling gig at the best of times...so once a month is the best I can offer at this stage...however.. If you have some thoughts and they align philosophically with mine, Please ...by all means shoot it thru and lets get the word out there... Souths May Yet Have a Chance

Watching one of my teams from back home, the North Queensland Cowboys, play my Sydney team South Sydney was an excruciating experience. I was happy for the winner, and a tad sad for the loser.

Australian Politics Enters the 21st Century….Belatedly….!!!

It has been a truly fabulous week for Australia in so many ways. Well for one the Socceroos, pulled the finger out and actually played to their potential. That though, has not been, in itself momentous.

The development that has been earth shattering, and timely, was the the day, the monoliths of the Australian political […]

Cowboys Are Looking Good

I watched the North Queensland Cowboys, and Broncos game last weekend, and was very impressed with both teams’ performances. The Matty Bowen try in that game was amazing. This guy is physically not your average NRL tank/machine. He is tiny at 175 cms, however, in terms of ability, when he plays, he leaves […]

Is Haneef the new Hicks….?

Must say this is a tough call. On the face of the matter, it seems that Kevin Andrews, Phillip Ruddock and their political master, John Winston Howard, may well have overplayed their hand. Stephen Keim, Haneefs Barrister seems to be made of sterner stuff. Not only has he called their bluff, by fighting fire […]

It simply begs the question, do, Clover Moore, Phillip Ruddock, Kevin Andrews and John Howard, know […]
