Helen Coonan, Mark Vaile and John Howard, Sell Out the Bush ……AGAIN!

And its Official, the Helen Coonan, and John Howard have sold out the bush, and what isn’t surprising this time around, is the fact that, the National Party, has rolled over, and copped it YET Again. Yikes!

First they let the John Howard, and Helen Coonan, sell off Telstra, without insisting on the parity of Telecommunication services for the bush with the city before the SALE. So the practical result of that first Sellout, was the fact that, any poor mobile and Internet coverage, areas in the bush are now forgotten. More on this latest development Here

With this new announcements, it seems that more of the same is happening, John Howard, Helen Coonan, and Mark Vaile the leader of the National Party, are according to the experts going to be bequeathing to the bush a second rate technology option. Lets face it, if labor gets in, they are not going to look after National Party Voters in the bush are they? My parents live in far north Queensland, and I am for one not too optimistic about the future on the technology accessibility front there. I truly am worried that, mum will have to fork out $100 big ones a month, just so she can stay in touch with us, using skype, and other associated services.

As an aside, I watched Helen Coonan tonight being interviewed by Kerry O’ Brien, on the 7:30 Report, on this very matter and realised why we really need a Generational Clean Out/Clean Up of the Dead Wood, that purport to represent us. She was totally undynamic! And seemed so uncomfortable answering questions about broadband technology. Which really is not a good look for someone representing the face of what is the most dynamic sector of the economy in this country. She was utterly Unimpressive. We now live in the Information Age, and as a country Deserve talented people at the helm, not lackluster has beens.
