Integrity, in today’s life, is such a hard thing to live up to, or rather personally display. There are moments in time, when one is asked by the gods to step up to the plate, and yet for any number of reasons, most mere mortals fail.

And so it was with such great pleasure, that, I read a newscorp interview with Petero Civoniceva’ the former Brisbane Broncos, forward, about his trying last season of top line rugby league , with the Brisbane Broncos. I left reading the article with so much respect and admiration for the Big Guy.

“I had some discussions with my wife Bonnie and my family about whether I should be doing my best for the club now that I knew I was leaving,” he said.

“But when a club gives you so many opportunities as a young man and rewards you with the quality of life you mightn’t have had as a footballer, you quickly put that behind you.”
