Julia Gillard….Gets Buswhacked on John Howard loving Kerri-Anne Kennerley’s Show

One really does wonder why the labor party media strategists bother with sending their stars onto the channel 9 show, Mornings with Kerry-Anne. She no longer has any sway, with the viewers, and indeed has lost a truckload of viewers to channel sevens, fresher new entrant The Morning Show, hosted by Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies.

Julia Gillard, must have thought she was walking into the lions den, when the ambush started. What was obvious to all viewers was the free rein, and helping hand that bumbling, Helen Coonan, was given. Lord, that lady needs to retire, she is so outdated, and out of touch.

What was rather funny, was when, Coonan sided with Kerry-Anne, about the significance, of dress/attire over policy/principal/ideas. Further stating that the reason, Kevin Rudd, won the debate over Howard, was because he wore a pink tie, and as a result voters/worm loved him. …hahahaha…..Thus, according to Kerri-Anne broken promises about mortgage rates, don’t matter, and worker pain over the manifestly unfair work choices legislation don’t matter, instead the pink tie, does. hahahah

So Helen Coonan, were, I and the rest of the world to Judge you on attire, and job fit, you my friend, based, on what you wore today would be a manager in charge of a Retirement Village, on the Gold Coast.

Ross Greenwood, and Kerri-Anne Kennerley, whilst giving Coonan, a good run, constantly snipped and interrupted Julia Gillard, at every turn. It looked like she could not complete, a full sentence, for if it wasn’t Coonan, jumping in, it was Kerri-Anne, with her illogical partisan sniping. Channel 9’s so called financial expert Ross Greenwood, was a disgrace, he gave Coonan, a free pass, at every turn, and jumped in on Julia Gillard, whenever Kerri-Anne wasn’t doing so.

Were I, the the brains trust over at Labor HQ, I would not repeat that sordid experience again. It can do do things, either garner some sympathy from some voters or worse, make the politician look inept, either way not a good luck.

I guess the moral to the story is that, right wing ideologues and their very public choir squads, should not be given any oxygen. Over time, they will simply pale into insignificance. Some One like Kerri-Anne Kennerley, who has in the past provided a soap box, for the likes of Pauline Hanson, should be completely Ignored. By appearing on her show, she is given a life, in more ways than one.

This same policy, must apply to Allan Jones. His pre-eminence is no longer in the Sydney radio market, according to the latest ratings. Instead support should be given to media commentators, who are not necessarily, partisan, rather fair, and middle of the road. Eventually over time, the right wing bully’s will learn that, bad behaviour will no longer be tolerated.

This strategy, is working in America, Fox News is slowly being side stepped, by the Democrats, in a very deliberate strategy, to neuter their corrosive Influence. And it worked for the US democrats, last year, read it here
