Kevin Rudd 07 and Johnny Howard 07, RESPECT !

Hey There Folks,2009 has been a very enlightening year.

For me as a progressive voter I have been stunned to wake up one day and realise that Surprise, Surprise, Kevin Rudd of Kevin 07 fame is really not all

that different from Johnny Howard PM of O7 fame. The only shade of difference being one is purporting to be all things progressive and a visionary and the other is well…was true to himself and his roots. Its really kinda wierd when you wake up to the realisation that you as a human being at some level have much more respect for John Howard as a person then you do for Kevin Rudd. Its Very True!!!

You must being saying wow Don, how can that be. Okay bear with me here, and let me try and explain. I shall make it very very short.

John Howard was who he was, He did not pretend to be some type of Technology visionary, or some type of Education Revolutionary.

He Stuck to his beliefs, and he rode roughshod over people with my philosophical inclinations, and for better or worse he prevailed!!!

YES HE DID!!! YES HE DID!!! YES HE DID!!! YES HE DID!!!
John Howard, stood up for his beliefs and Delivered to his Base. A legacy of that was his education policy, where he managed to get passed in federal

parliament, in full public view, legislation and funding outcomes that effectively delivered more money to private schools then it did to Public schools.
What did Kevin 07 do in this area, you ask??? Well I shall let Ross Gittins, of the Sydney morning Herald explain it all to you.

As for Keinv 07’s input into the environment, and Climate Change, well the signs were ominous and there for all to see, nice and early and it started

with a means test on families that were interested in putting some what expensive solar panels on their roof. Talk about utter stupidity.

And then the real alarms bells in the environmental sphere went off when, a BP factory that manufactured solar panels was allowed to shut down with all

200 jobs lost. These poor sods were unfortunate enough to not be working for a Bank. Had they been, a national crisis would have been declared together

with a WAR on Oxygen. And they could have expected at the very minimum millions flowing through their factory.

Their only crime was to be in an industry were actual real things got made that actual real people could actually buy and benefit from !!!

As for the area of internet censorship and Kevin’s dream of joining his Totalitarian heroes in China…well let me leave that post for another day.
