C’mon Kevin, You have to do better then this. You need to come up with either far better articulation or just refine the concept a bit more before you release it into the public domain. I read Ross Gittins piece in the Herald, and it left me with a lot of misgivings. For those of you, who have not, here it is

It is a very public given and indeed accepted within the wider community that John Winston Howard, balkanised the public education system. He detsted it so much, that he went out of his way to Destroy it.  So when you come along promising us a new dream, a new vision, and instead maintain the status quo, and worse still rehash part of John Howard’s ideas, it makes us your supporters and the last of the True Believers at least Federally (NSW Labor is MUD) want to vomit. Yes you heard right vomit.

So please please go away and give this policy a good hard Re-Think, and Re-Tool it. It is well and truly a dead set DUD.
