Pacific Islands Guest Worker Scheme, Must Be Implemented.

Dodgypress is whole heartedly behind Kevin Rudd’s proposed Guest Worker Scheme. The benefits flowing into the region would be immeasurable. And we are not just talking money. One hopes that the insights gained by the workers here, would flow back into their respective countries.

I support this scheme on one important proviso, and that is that, the wages and conditions that the guest worker is employed under are on a par with those faced by a citizen of this country.

This proposal must also be given proper thought. If support structures are needed to be in place for those workers, to help them adjust to life in Australia, they must be planned for.

Must admit, not a bad effort for a Pensioner! The crazy guy has stupidity and courage rolled into one.
