The Very Moment John Howard Lost Both A Sense of Connection and the Federal Election 2007

Hey Dodgypress, you are out of your mind, you may well say.

What a call, how on god’s earth do you know when exactly John Howard lost both A sense of Connection and the Federal Election 2007. Who do you think you are? A soothsayer….besides what connection are you talking about anyway. Connection to what?

Well yes I have got to admit that it is a very unique ballys call, and maybe, just maybe there is the odd pundit out there in the ether, making the exact same call as I am, I doubt it though. The considerable weight of public punditry, is saying it’s an even bet. After all, old man Johnny Howard, is a foxy biatch, and he does have the resources of the entire federal government at his disposal.

What an Unlimited Slush Fund, for the Liberal Party, that is turning out to be, just turn your Tv on during any prime time viewing period, and you will without a doubt catch your friendly federal government, advertising some panacea to fix all your current and future problems.

Okay where were we, Oh yes, back to the connection thing.

Well, last week, midweek, John Howard, and Co made the odd slip up or two. Well Dodgypress, which one was it because, he made a few didn’t he, was it the one where, in a symptom of his aging years, the old codger slipped up and forgot the name one of his candidates in Tassie, was it that one you are referring to? No, No Not that One.

The Slip-up, which Johnny made, which lost him both the CONNECTION and FEDERAL ELECTION 2007, was when John Winston Howard, forgot to RELATE to the Pain of the Every Day Mortgage Paying Punter.

Let Me Take Your Mind Back: Remember, all those eons, back to the very first election that Johnny won, in particular that televised Tv debate, John Howard, had with Paul Keating. My recollection, of the very pivotal and poignant moment in the debate was when John Howard, asked Paul Keating, the price of everyday items like bread, and milk, to which Paul Keating, god bless him, did not have the foggiest. (lack of Connection)

So when John Howard’s best retort, is to repeat his favourite mantra, “We Live in Prosperous Times, The Economy has never been any Healthier…”

People out in the burbs, just go, What Australia, are you Living In Johnny? Certainly not the one where the rising price of fuel, is killing me, or the one where grocery prices, seem to keep going up and up, and for the Killer, why am I spending two thirds of my paypacket on my mortgage???

Yikes John Howard, best of Irish Luck to ya! You old Pal are going to need it.
