Therese Rein, John Howard, Election 2007…and What I Expect From…Prime Ministers

The Therese Rein Scandal, which erupted towards the end of last month, was the best thing that could have happened to Australia. Before this up and coming Federal Election 2007, Every man and his cat (me included), have for so long wanted John Howard to be gone, and Yesterday!

As a result, the ascendancy of Kevin Rudd, could arguably have been likened in some quarters to Israelites in the desert, receiving manna from the heavens. And yes publicly everything has been hunky dory, however in the back of my mind I have had this growing nagging conviction that, oh oh, …hang on a sec, what exactly are we doing here…because of the fact that we have had in place for so long an individual running this country, who history will judge rather harshly, and we badly want him gone, Are we due to these sad state of affairs, then guilty of the crime of Rudd Worship, which causes one to leave all their critical faculties at the door???

Are we as a thinking nation, going to merely replace one sadly misguided emperor, for another??? Are we on a daily basis going, yep anyone is far more acceptable then John Howard, and this bloke Kevin Rudd, former diplomat, bilingual intelligent chap, seems far more palatable, than some of those Neanderthal like creatures, that reside within the machine that Is the modern day, Australian Labor Party.

I personally found the whole episode distasteful, and disgraceful, that is Therese Rein, not paying her workers, their entire hard earned dues was/is unprincipled to say the least. And this coming from a household that supposedly represented Workers Rights, Social Justice, and Principles of Equity

In my experience, the management culture, and practices of an organisation are almost always, an accurate reflection of the central leadership theme, running through it. So Therese Rein, Shame on You, and as for Kevin, no more rubbish, Great Policies Please!

SO peoples in the wash up, all I am going to say on the matter is that, Please, Please Ask More of any sod, who aspires to be Prime Minister of Australia. Critically Examine their Policies, and if you disagree, with the Substance of what they are saying, LET THEM KNOW ABOUT IT TODAY!!!
